Saturday Morning - Mission: Half Dome

Saturday morning we awoke around 4:40am
and made the drive down to Yosemite Valley.
We cruised along in the dark eating yogurt and
bagels and winding around forest turns.

By about 6:40 am we were outfited in all our gear and
walking towards the trailhead. Here we met the trail sign.
Half Dome waited for us 8.2 miles away. :-)















As the morning sun came up, we hiked our way
up the trail. Steps blasted out of the rock composed
the majority of the trail.
