When Monday morning dawned last week I was diligently searching for airline tickets to San Antonio. I was so excited and amazed that there was a possibility that Micah and I would be there by the end of the week. But sure enough as the Lord would have it Micah and I found ourselves deep in the heart of Texas on Thursday night. Our purpose for being there? The San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival.

We were so blessed to be able to attend and we were once again heartened and encouraged in on our walk with the Lord. The overarching theme of the festival was that we as Christians have the duty to bring every thought, and in this case ever frame, captive to the obedience and glory of Christ. We are to bring glory to God in all that we put our hands to, whether it is as a mother or as a filmmaker. One of the goals of Vision Forum is to raise up a film industry that will rival Hollywood as it produces films that are in accordance with the Word of God; films that will honor God and uphold and promote His perfect standards.
